Samsung Electronics Co. said Friday that three of its products have been named in TIME magazine's list of the Best Inventions of 2026.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone, the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator and the Odyssey G8 G80HS gaming monitor were among the list, the South Korean tech giant said.

Each year, TIME compiles the list based on nominations from its editors and correspondents around the world.

TIME said the Galaxy S26 Ultra became the world's fastest-selling Android smartphone of the year despite carrying a price tag of more than $1,000.

The magazine highlighted the smartphone's new privacy display feature, which limits screen visibility from the sides to help prevent others from viewing the user's screen.

Samsung's latest AI refrigerator lineup features Google's Gemini as a second artificial intelligence assistant, enabling the appliance to identify more than 2,000 packaged foods, TIME said.

The company's 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS gaming monitor combines high-resolution visuals with the speed required for competitive gaming.

It supports 6K resolution at a 165-hertz refresh rate and allows users to switch to 3K resolution at up to 330Hz with the press of a button, the magazine said. (Yonhap)
